报告人简介：

Qiu Xu, associate professor at the Institute for Integrated Radiation and Nuclear Science, Kyoto University. He graduated from Beijing University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree. He graduated from Kyushu University in Japan with a doctorate in engineering. Then, he joined the Kyoto University Research Reactor Institute as an assistant professor. He has long been engaged in basic research on the interaction of materials with high energy particles (neutrons, ions, electrons). He hosted several provincial-funded projects (including damage to reactor materials, relationship between precipitates in ferritic steel and neutron irradiation behavior, swelling and defects in stainless steel, and interactions between dislocations and point defects in metal under irradiation conditions, and other projects). He served as a member of the Kyoto University Research Reactor Institute Supervision Committee and the Joint Utilization Committee. He published more than 200 articles in Scientific Reports, Nanotechnology, Nuclear Fusion, Phys. Rev. B., Phys. Rev.C., Appl. Phys. Lett., Phil. Mag. Lett., journal of nuclear materials, and so on. He is an editorial board members of Scientific Reports.
