报告人简介:
Prof. Christian Linsmeier is currently the director at the Institute of Energy and Climate Research – Plasma Physics (IEK-4) of Forschungszentrum Jülich. He received his Ph.D. degree at Institute for Physical Chemistry, University of Munich, and IPP at Garching in 1994.
Over the past several years, Prof. Linsmeier has been the group leader of the “Materials Synthesis and Characterization” and “Plasma-Facing Material and Components” groups at IPP since 2007. He was also appointed as the Coordinator of the EU FP6 Integrated Project “ExtreMat – New Materials for Extreme Environments” (2008—2010), Coordinator of the EU FP7 Coordination Action “Fusion Energy Materials Science–FEMaS” (2008—20110).
Prof. Linsmeier is a member of the editorial board of “Nuclear Materials and Energy” (Elsevier) and “Plasma Science and Technology” (IOP). He is also a member of the International Advisory Committee of EAST at ASIPP.
Prof. Linsmeier’s current research interests include the study of plasma-wall interaction processes from current experiments towards ITER and a fusion reactor, and also research and development of plasma-facing materials and components such as fiber-reinforced tungsten, self-passivating tungsten-based alloys etc. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, H-index is 24.
